Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia – February 4, 2022 – EdgePoint Infrastructure (“EdgePoint”), a leading ASEAN-based independent telecommunications infrastructure company has appointed Daragh O’Neill as its Chief Financial Officer.
With over 26 years of experience in accounting and finance – and deep specialisation in the telecommunications industry, Daragh will be playing a key role in planning and executing financial strategy for EdgePoint as the company continues its growth within the region.
“It is really exciting to be coming back to the telecommunications field in Southeast Asia, where the rollout of 4G and 5G promises sweeping changes in the landscape. EdgePoint’s role in building the infrastructure required by communications providers and enabling MNOs to focus on their services is crucial in this change. Prior to joining EdgePoint, Daragh played key roles at the Digicel Group, holding the position of Deputy Group CFO in Digicel Group as well as various positions as Regional CFO responsible for the Asia Pacific, Caribbean and Central American markets. His other career highlights include CFO of Ooredoo Myanmar and 11 years as the Regional Financial Controller for SIG Ireland.
Daragh holds a Masters degree in Accountancy and a Bachelors degree in Accounting, both from University College Dublin.
