Executive Officers

Suresh Sidhu

Chief Executive Officer

Suresh is one of the founders of EdgePoint, having previously spearheaded the transformation and growth of edotco, one of the fastest growing TowerCos in Asia. He has also held senior roles at the leading telecommunications companies in Asia, giving him a unique perspective on the challenges faced by the sector. He is recognised as a thought leader in the industry and has worked with the Axiata Group, Maxis, and the Boston Consulting Group. He holds an undergraduate degree from Cambridge University and an MBA from INSEAD.

Suresh Sidhu

Chief Executive Officer and Founder

Suresh has been at the forefront of industry-leading telco organisations in senior leadership, operations, M&A, and strategy roles across Asia. In the past decade he has been instrumental in the creation of the telecom tower infrastructure sector as a viable business opportunity in ASEAN. Prior to founding EdgePoint, he spearheaded the transformation and growth of one of the fastest growing TowerCos in Asia, edotco Group, as the CEO. He has also held other senior operating roles in the Axiata group, including that of Chief Corporate & Operating Officer at Celcom. His other work experience also includes time at Sime Darby, the Boston Consulting Group, and Maxis Communications, and spans geographies as varied as South Asia and North America. Suresh holds an undergraduate degree from Cambridge University and an MBA from INSEAD.

Daragh O’Neill

Chief Financial Officer and Founder

Daragh is a Chartered Accountant with deep specialisation in the telecommunication industry. In the past decade, he has been at the forefront of emerging markets in Asia and beyond, namely across Singapore, Myanmar, and Jamaica. Prior to EdgePoint, Daragh was the CFO for multiple companies including Digicel Group and Ooredoo, with a total of USD2 Bn regional businesses in the telecommunication space inclusive of infrastructure related transactions. Daragh received a Bachelor of Commerce (Accounting) and a Masters in Accountancy from University College Dublin and is a qualified Chartered Accountant (Institute of Chartered Accounts of Ireland).

Carson Wolfer

Chief Strategy Officer and Founder

Carson’s experience in the telecommunication infrastructure and technology industries spans Asia, the Middle East, Europe, and North America. These include senior level roles at edotco Group (Malaysia), Ooredoo (Qatar, Myanmar, Indonesia, and Singapore), TELUS (Canada), and Vodafone (Czech Republic). He has also led major transactions, new ventures, and projects while holding senior roles in Corporate Development, Strategy, Capital Markets, and Operations. Prior to joining EdgePoint, Carson most recently led the M&A team at edotco, helping it become one of the fastest growing TowerCos in Asia. Carson received a Bachelor of Arts (Honors Geography and Economics) from the University of Western Ontario and is a qualified MBA (Richard Ivey School of Business).

Muniff Kamaruddin

Senior Technology Advisor and Founder

Muniff has been at the forefront of the telecommunication industry with a focus on corporate strategy & governance, industry development, and network deployment across South East Asia. Prior to joining EdgePoint, he spearheaded a number of intercarrier collaboration initiatives such as site planning collaborations, fibre collaborations, and RAN Sharing / Domestic Roaming arrangements. He also led the carving out of the field operations management from Celcom Axiata to edotco. He was also the Deputy Chairman of the National 5G taskforce under MCMC (Malaysia). He has held other senior operating roles in Celcom Axiata and prior to that at edotco and Maxis Communications. Muniff received a Bachelor of Science (Mechanical Engineering) from George Washington University.
